The Seagull is one of the Anton Chekhov’s most well-known theatre plays written in 19th century. The play focuses on romantic and artistic conflicts between four main characters and shows the complexity of love, art, and human relationships. Theatre is such a classical art form and typically experienced through watching the show or reading the script. Main goal in “The Seagull” project is to create an alternative and shorter experience with using new technologies. “The Seagull” is video experience that is displayed with projection. With using typography for each character and abstraction to reflect the environment the lack of communication between the characters and their underlying emotions is depicted. The size of experience is 292 cm by 96 cm.
