Natural disasters in Turkey causing major effects. Besides disasters, post-disaster processes aren't well managed. As solution Municipality of Istanbul Founded "Logistics Support Center" which concludes coordination of works to be carried out in disasters from single point IBB Support Services Department in order to meet needs of Social Facilities and units affiliated to IBB. As the scenario, municipality of Izmir asked to design a similar kind of facility which has an architectural mission to reflect behavior of local administration to disasters. Facility’s mission besides get ready and managing disasters provide logistics,warehouses and production areas for the needs of the municipality.
