“Just the Train” project was created with the aim of making people question whether a journey leads to another journey, with photographs from both underground and ground. The photos were taken at the Izmir Metro line stops. Both the photographs taken underground and the photographs taken on the ground offer a different reading experience to the readers with a spiral binding. The book begins with these words: “Routes, rails, trains can take you from one place to another. Who knows, where did the trains lead? Streets, houses, objects, things can forget loneliness because of the crowd. Who knows how to find a way to ask? Going underground is not just a journey. There are also tickets for other journeys on trains and train stations…”
